Ray says he thinks I could do it, so I may try it once I get my hands on the right size of swabs for my full frame. The sensor is actually covered with a low pass filter (the green piece next to the penny in the article).

Second if you choose a solution such as the Eclipse product, the manufacturer guarantees against damage to the sensor. Just make not that when shopping for products to get the proper solution (Eclipse for example has Eclipse and E2) and the proper sized swabs.

The key is to carefully choose your tools and just go at it with a calm (non panicked) approach.Cúchullainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04694174027458393059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6669490325727673698.post-44332404823454243762009-06-09T16:05:48.211-06:002009-06-09T16:05:48.211-06:00This is something I'll most likely need to do ...This is something I'll most likely need to do in the near future as well. Fortunately they do this sort of thing at my 'local' photography store. :)

-- Lisa P.Lisa Pielluschhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05363675438197259830noreply@blogger.com
